The market is located at “Akademika Barabashova” metro station and occupies a territory of 75 hectares. Here you can buy everything you want and at the price you want.
And please, be aware of theft. It flourishes here. Just watch your pockets, bags and other valuable things you have.
It works every day except Mondays from 7 am to 3 pm.

Freedom Square is the main square of Kharkov and an architectural landmark. It is the second largest city-center square in Europe and the ninths in the world. It is the place of every possible events: concerts, demonstrations, fairs, meetings.
The total area of the square is 11.9 hectares, the length is from 960 to 750 meters. Two metro stations are located under the square: station Universitet of Saltivska line and Derzhprom of Oleksiivska line.
Derzhprom is the central object of the round part of the Freedom Square. This architectural landmark was built in 1920-th and became the first skyscraper in whole country. From the right side of it you will see famous old University.

Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M.Lysenko is the first academic theatre in Ukraine. It presents operas in Ukrainian, Russian, French and Italian. This one of the leading Ukrainian theatres was opened in 1925.
From 1991 the theatre works in the new building which is built in postmodern style and is located at Sumskaya Str. 25/27. The Theatre has two halls: big hall can seat 1500 people and small one 400 people. The sculpture "Music of L.Lysenko" decorates the entrance of the theatre. The building is tiled with artic tufa, and under the theatre there is a parking.
In 2007 in front of the theatre were constructed beautiful fountains.
