Old castle now a ruin, run wonderfully by English Heritage, surrounded by green space up on a hill overlooking Lostwithiel - a charming place for a brief walk or a picnic, the lovely thing about the castle is that you (and/or your kids) can scramble all over it - it's small and well maintained for playing at bows and arrows!
