The park is located in the outskirts of Pula, definitely worth going if you can dedicate a day to this little excursion. Safari bar is a must see! The hilltop is today dominated by a historical baroque fortress from the 17th century. You can walk around the fortress and climb in the small tower to have beautiful views of the town.

Designed to host gladiatorial contests, it's now Istria's stellar tourist attraction but still serves the mass entertainment needs of the local populace in the shape of concerts.
