Wellington Botanic Garden. The Rose Garden's are stunning. Plenty of great walks through the gardens. Take the Cable Car from Lambton Quay up to the top of the gardens and weave your way back down through the gardens back into town.

Always buzzing with people. Swim out to the platform or chill out on the beach. Or just stroll around Oriental Parade to soak in the scene if sitting on the beach isn't your thing. Heaps of places to get coffee and food around here too.
