The Kawartha Arts Festival was first held in 1989 and started off as a small collection of artists gathering together to give something back to the local arts community. It has since grown into one of the largest art festivals in Southern Ontario and attracts thousands of visitors each year. 2018 edition is from Sept. 1-2.
