O'neill's is a bit of a tourist pub but I still reckon it's one of the best feeds in Dublin! it's one of my favourites. If you love a big meal this is the place they have a carvery and a set menu. the carvery is a wonderful roast dinner with all the extras you want just keep on asking them for more! They serve a good pint of Guinness too. roast dinner is around €10-14.
The have live music upstairs on the weekends.

O'Neills Pub
2 Suffolk StO'neill's is a bit of a tourist pub but I still reckon it's one of the best feeds in Dublin! it's one of my favourites. If you love a big meal this is the place they have a carvery and a set menu. the carvery is a wonderful roast dinner with all the extras you want just keep on asking them for more! They serve a good pint of Guinness too. roast dinner is around €10-14.
The have live music upstairs on the weekends.
Traditional Irish Food - If you want to try some traditional Irish food then I cant recommend Boxty enough for their Coddle, Beef Stew and of course Boxty.
They are a little on the expensive side but a very tasty and good experience.

If Vegan or Vegetarian it your thing then Cornucopia is for you! It is one of my favourite places. The food is delicious, super healthy and hard to finish portions. It is a little expensive, a main is 12.50 - 14 but i can't get enough of it. There are also smaller soup and salad meals that are cheaper. :)

If you are on a Budget here is another good place!
There meal deal is very popular depending on the time of day it is €5 -€6 for 9" pizza, Chips, Dip and a fizzy drink.
You get what you pay for but you cant beat the value.

When my girlfriend found this place we was rambling around Dublin with a visiting friend. They ended up here 3 times in the one weekend. It's a bit away but obviously worth it if you are up around this part of town :)

Pmacs is my all time favourite Dublin bar. It has an amazing atmosphere and the staff are fantastic. Tell them what you like and they will suggest some great drinks for you. The only thing is if you go Friday or Saturday late night be warned it will be packed to the rafters!!

Traditional Music every evening at 8 as far as I know Pipers corner is relatively new and closer to home. The staff are pretty good, it has good beers, gins and whiskeys. The area where the musicians are is kind of small. So its good to get in early, grab a seat and enjoy a chinwag over some pints.

Packs out on the weekends so it's good craic but don't expect a seat unless you're there early. It is located in smithfield square it’s a bit of a walk but good if you like to walk ans explore the city. If not you can get the Luas tram from the BusAras stop and get off at Smith Field the pub is on the other side of the square, there is also the Jameson Distillery and a really cool independant cinema called The Light House Cinema in the square.

writing all over the walls and super relaxed vibe. It is a bit of an alternative seen. Definitely worth stopping for a pint
