Entertainment & Activities
Filandias famous Mirador is located next to the track leading to our farm. You can get some great views of the farm from the mirador! On a clear day you can see for miles including views over the Cauca river valley to the west and Parque Nacional Los Nevados to the east (it is also possible to see both Armenia and Pereira from the top of the tower), and also the Church in the main square where scenes from the popular Colombian telenovela Café, con Aroma de mujer were filmed.

Mirador del Quindío
Filandias famous Mirador is located next to the track leading to our farm. You can get some great views of the farm from the mirador! On a clear day you can see for miles including views over the Cauca river valley to the west and Parque Nacional Los Nevados to the east (it is also possible to see both Armenia and Pereira from the top of the tower), and also the Church in the main square where scenes from the popular Colombian telenovela Café, con Aroma de mujer were filmed.

Here you can see many beautiful species of birds, plants, flowers and trees and enjoy a walk through their huge butterfly house. The park provides tours in both English and Spanish and will give you an amazing insight into the incredible natural world of Colombia!

Filandia has 4 supermarkets, 3 banks with ATMs, many vegetable markets and local butchers. We can provide laundry services here at the farm and there are also laundrettes in town. whatever you need it is all here!!!

Getting Around
It is easy to move around the local area. Public transport here is excellent. The cities of Pereira, Armenia and touristy town of Salento are all short bus rides away. Busses run every 40 minutes. We can help you to get around and explain how the bus services work and where to jump on!
