Food Scene
Cajun inspired seafood - high quality and great atmosphere! On Friday and Saturday nights, there is usually live music in the courtyard and on Sundays, there is a fabulous bloody mary bar. McAdoo's is housed in the original Post Office, which has been converted into a beautiful space, while reusing many of the original materials.
As a New Orleans transplant, it was a great relief to discover real cajun cooking in the Hill Country. (With a little Texas influence, of course. The seafood enchiladas are wicked!)

Mamacita's is tacky in the most delicious way. Excellent food and great margaritas.

Huisache serves delicious, fresh American-style soups, salads, and entrees and features a nice wine list. This little gem is charming and the food is excellent!
