Food Scene

For a quick morning coffee head to The Fudge Shop. I've sampled all the coffee on the mountain and there is no clearer winner. You can also pick up some fudge and ice cream on warmer days.

Free Things To Do

Grab a bottle of red and head to the top of Lyrebird Ridge Road to watch the sunset. There are couple of cutouts in the trees that look over Echo Valley Farm towards to west. (Don't go past the fence.)

Parks & Nature

Twin falls is a great walk for anyone who has a spare two hours. It passes countless waterfalls, caves and rocky outcrops. The Warrie circuit is a 17km circle that starts from the bottom of the Twin Falls walk and takes about 5-6 hours if you take your time. If done late in the afternoon/evening you may see some of the glow worms Springbrook is famous for.

Purling Brook Falls is a staple on everyone's trip to Springbrook but few people go further than Warringa Pool. Once you get to the bottom of the falls, follow the sign to Warringa pool to find a nice spot, usually with a few people swimming. If the water is low enough, cross the creek and you'll find the track continues its way down the valley, meandering along the creek past different types of forests and stunning secret waterfalls. Eventually, you'll come to a moderate, but long, incline that takes you back up to Springbrook road. If you turn left when you get to the road, Cliff House will be about a kilometer up the road. This isn't an easy walk but it's definitely rewarding.

A quick, 5-10 minute walk from the carpark gives you the best view on the mountain and technically you'll walk interstate. Head to Best Of All Lookout for a panoramic view of northern NSW and you'll know exactly how it got it's name. TIP: IT'S ALWAYS COLD HERE.
