Sightseeing
National Trust owned and steeped in interesting history. Beautiful walk across the top of the hills and down to Swanage where a steam train can be boarded back to Corfe. the train runs both ways during the summer months. It is also en route to our World Heritage Jurassic coast line at Kimmeridge.

Corfe Castle

It’s not far to Lymington where there is a car ferry to this Island. There are lovely beaches and coves to be found. Also Osborne House which was Queen Victoria’s Favourite residence is open to the public.

8 miles of sandy beach with food and refreshments along the way. A mini train runs along a big part of the promenade for those who don’t want to walk far. Swimming is considered very safe as it is a gentle slope into the water.

It is close by and has a village feel. It is full of coffee shops and different types of restaurants with several pubs and wine bars. Also some nice boutiques and upmarket gift shops. There is a Victorian Arcade in the centre.
