Classified by IPPAR as a national monument, Freixo Archaeological Station is the proof that Tongobriga represented an important centre of attraction and decision at the end of the 1st century and beginning of the 2nd century. In an area of about 50 hectares, you can see the remains of the baths, of the forum, residential areas and a necropolis.
