Ingolfs Café is our favourite place in the neighbourhood to have breakfast or lunch, hoppy Mikkeller beers and a super cozy and homey vibe. Young staff and very nice danish food. Especially in the summer on a sunny day you can seat in the yard.

Best Ramen in town. Tight concept, 3/4 different Ramen tastes and 3/4 starters. It's really the best Ramen I've ever had. Be aware that the place is very small and it is conceived more as a street food, they don't have a toilet, they don't take reservation: you just go there and write your name on the waiting list. There's a nice pub just further at the corner called Kalaset where you can have a drink or coffe while you wait to be seated at the Ramen place. At Kalaset they also have nice food and it's a super cozy danish/swedish place.

Slurp Ramen Joint

Best Italian food. Rufino is the place to go if you want to try the best Carbonara (and more traditional roman food) in town. Famous for amazing fresh homemade pasta and tasty antipasti. For me it is also a family. I work here as a part-time waitress for a couple of years now and I'm completely in love with them. Don't forget to ask for a nice glass of Nebbiolo, Alberto will be glad to pour for you some of the amazing wines he carefully select among the most interesting bio Italian producers.

Rufino Osteria

Beside being the best place for modern art in Denmark (it's the danish Tate let's say) the spot where it is located and the structure itself with the big garden, the little lake park, the beach and the view right in front of the swedish coast make the Louisiana a unique beauty, perfectly in tune with the scandinavian cozyness.

Getting Around
Here on the main street Amagerbrogade you can take the buses connecting to the city centre and the airport:
5C goes both ways to the airport toward south and to the centre and main station (Kobenhavn H) toward north. It runs 7/24. Bus 350S is the express (it is faster/less stops) and it's the fastest way to Christianshavn (15 mins) or Kogens Nytorv (20 mins). Both buses stop at the main Metro Station of the neighbourhood (Amegerbro Station) where you have all possible connections to Christianshavn, Nyhan, Norreport, Fredericksberg, and also to the beach - stop at Amager Strand. If you're here for a convention in Bella Center take bus 4A toward Svanemøllen, Stop at Bella Center in 13''.
