This is our little ski area and we love it. During the season even during peak times its not too crowded. There is also crosscountry ski trails here and lots of space for snowmobiling. Winter wonderland at its best!

Places to take in the great beauty that is Pagosa Springs.
From July into September the river is low enough and slow enough for great tubing. Buy a tube at Walmart or rent one from Pagosa Outside and start at the Malt Shop on HWY 160 and float your way downtown. A great way to spend an afternoon!

This Hiking trail is a beautiful leisure trail that follows the river, in total the trail is 11.2 miles but go as long as you want and turn around.

Beautiful hike, but you are hiking mountains so it isn't a leisurely stroll through the woods! Well worth the energy though!

Beautiful and a little less crowded.
This is one of our favorite close places to get in a quick hike with a great view. Turn right off of 84 south onto 8 mile mesa road and at the end of the road is a parking area and a gateway of trails or head out on the road for a great quiet walk. Enjoy!
