Chepstow is fine without a car, but if you want to do the Wye Valley or Monmouth a car is essential. Buses don't run on a Sunday!

It is down some steps in a vaulted cellar. The staff are lovely and the food is fabulous and very reasonable. They usually give you flaming sambucca to finish!

Very nice restaurant up by the mediaeval arch. Used to be Italian, but has branched out a little.
They do excellent steaks.
