One of the closest restaurants to our condo. Fantastic BBQ. Very casual. Outdoor seating in moderate weather (quieter than inside which can be noisy because it is also a very popular bar). They also serve unique cocktails.

Fantastic brewery in Hollister. A great place if you want great beer, wood fired pizza, and some nights, live music. Much quieter and more laid back if you want a change of pace from the Branson strip.

The Hatchery is closed for renovations until 2025. Fun place to visit, just down the road from The Pointe, at the foot of the dam. Learn how the state of Missouri raises the trout that stock Lake Taneycomo. (There is a hiking trail that starts of Wimbledon Drive in The Pointe that goes to the hatchery, about a 2 mile hike).

The Haygoods show at Clay Cooper Theater is very high quality and a lot of fun! We highly recommend it. This theater is very easy to access from our condo. To save on tickets go to the 2 for 1 ticket booth (purple building) on the strip--no sales pitches, no gimmicks, just 2 for 1 tickets.

Lots of the "discount" ticket offerings that are everywhere will come with a time share pitch or other such gimmick. But the Branson 2 for 1 tickets (purple building on the strip) has true 2 for 1 tickets for many/most shows in Branson, with no strings attached.
