Umbrella!
Sarasota gets unexpected downpours that are gorgeous! But having an umbrella handy is smart. (Usually May thru October)

The Central–Cocoanut Historic District
This area of Sarasota is a taste of “Old Florida”. The residents are a mix of new families and generations of Floridians who have lived there since the 20’s. It’s a diverse neighborhood that is in transition with lovely old homes and even older Oak Trees!
