Lovely quiet village with a beautiful beach. Doesn't have a tourist feel if you want a break from the hustle and bustle.
10 minutes from the chalet, we found free parking for 2 hours.

This little train stops at the end of the road that leads to the chalet park - corner of Links Ave & Quebec Road. Runs about every half hour and goes from the Seal Sanctuary to the main beach. It was £5 the last time I checked.

Between the end of October and mid December, about 2000 seal pups will be born here in the sand dunes. Free admission and parking, coffee van on site. Bundle up as it will be really cold. About half an hour from the chalet.

I love this place! 2 breakfasts and a pot of tea for 2 was £9!! Great sandwiches and cakes, generous portions and lovely atmosphere.
