We have been coming to DeTour for many many years. One of the things that drew us here were the people. Everyone is so friendly and wave at you like they are your best friends. There is so much beauty around that it is hard to take it all in. If you are into the outdoors, your options are endless! Looking to just relax and sit by the water or evening around a bonfire with family and friends, This is your place!

Getting here is part of the experience! There are beautiful beaches, sand dunes and road side parks along M-134 off the shores of Lake Huron towards DeTour. The Botanical Garden is beautiful just on the outskirts of DeTour. Go explore the Sault Locks in Sault St Marie, Mackinaw Island , Tahquamenon Falls or White Fish Point are all within a couple hours drive.
