Craft Brewery

Lake Arrowhead's first craft brewery. Off the beaten path our brewery is located lakeside in a converted warehouse. We believe beer shouldn't be pretentious, beer should be a vessel that brings people together and creates good times and conversation. Sit back, relax, and taste a day on the lake. (Google 4.8)

Home to the historic and once notorious "Tudor House"! Originally owned by the mobster Bugsy Siegel in the roaring 20's, the Tudor house was a gambling hall and a drinking lounge during the prohibition! Liquor was run off the mountain into Los Angeles! The Tudor House was home to mobsters and Hollywood elite! The Clubhouse is located directly across from the cottage! The swimming pool has since been filled with cement in front of the clubhouse and the once tennis court is just south of the clubhouse! Some interesting history of Lake Arrowhead at the footsteps of Tír na nÓg!

The time for this is now! Fall is SO beautiful here and on a cold winter day the hot springs feel AMAZING! This can be booked through Airbnb! This hike is difficult. It requires hiking boots and good stamina. Six miles and 1,300 feet elevation change. There is a hill that is almost a sandy slide in steepness that is a quarter of a mile long and it is very challenging. We will spend about two hours hiking down and another two hours hiking back up. The hot springs are an amazing reward for the tough hike! Six different hot pools range in temperature from 75 to 115 degrees. They are located right along the creek so you can swim in the cold water too. It's a great spot for some contrast bath therapy! This is very good for stress, soreness, blood circulation, your metabolism, and your immune system! The whole area is beautiful and a perfect place to relax. We usually have time to stay and swim for two hours. The coldest days are the best days for this but as long as is 70 degrees or cooler in Lake Arrowhead then we can enjoy this hike. It never gets too cold for this experience. I like it best when it's around 40 degrees out. I will take pictures, candid and posed, to capture the memories of your day and send them to you after the hike. For more pictures look up my Instagram @echo_adventure_photography. Please note, there will be nudists. -For a less crowded day pick a week day. -Best suited for ages 15 to 50.

The Dogwood Trail, inside the campground of the same name, is just long enough and just steep enough to rate this a moderate (instead of easy) trail. The trail itself is well maintained and winds through patches of pine and dogwood trees. It starts near campsite 69 and, depending on which route you take, ends up near the main highway (you can walk back to the campground on the road) or behind the restrooms near campsite 90 (this is the shorter route).

A short 24 mile drive from the cottage! Whether you’re looking for a quick ski weekend where you spend more time on the mountain than you do in transit or you just want to knock out a quick day trip, Big Bear Mountain Resort — comprising Bear Mountain and Snow Summit — is a no-brainer. Both resorts are a must-see. With tons of park features (more than 200), 12-foot and 18-foot halfpipes, as well as backcountry and canyon terrain, and the largest beginner area in SoCal, Bear Mountain is more youthful, filled with kids and hardcore snowboarders. Snow Summit is more traditional, attracting families and skiers and riders who usually keep their boards and skis on the snow, but still has more than 20 runs and its own terrain park, Westridge.
