Mer Bleue Bog is one of the largest bogs in southern Ontario and arguably the most important natural area in the Greenbelt. Those interested in education can stroll around the 1.2-km interpretive trail on a boardwalk that crosses a peat bog, while those wishing exercise may hike up to 6-km through forest on the edge of a sandy escarpment. After either walk, visitors may rest at the numerous picnic tables located near the parking area.
