Food scene
Cretans have been producing wine since the Minoan period, for more than 5.000 years. It's really worth visiting a winery once on Crete. Domaine Paterianakis is my favourite, because it's the unique winery which produces only organic, biological wines and natural wines.

The Republic of Venice built it in the early 16th century as a part of the fortification of the port. Today is an archaeological site, open to the public.

Fortaleza Rocca a Mare
