Golf
The club house is approximately 300m from my front door. The course has the remains of Ranfurley Castle in its grounds and it has a driving range, putting green and pub style food in the club house.
P.S. My nephew is a professional golfer and available for booking for guidance and coaching.

The impressive club house is approximately 1/2 a mile from my front door and curiously the remains of Ranfurley Castle are to be found in the other golf course. This course is believed to be a touch more challenging than The Old Course and I wouldn't necessarily agree with that but I will say that with its higher elevation you can see as far as Ben Lomond. As the picture suggests, the course takes you into the edges of Clyde Muirshield Park.

Glasgow city centre is approximately 20 minutes away by car but I'd recommend a much shorter drive to Johnston Park and Ride facility where the parking is free and the city centre is only 15 minutes away. There are a great many things to see and do 'in town' and I'd be happy to suggest a few.
