Sightseeing

Just have an hours walk or a quick drive down the road. A pebbly beach, a great place to have takeaway fish and chips. We recommend the Start Bay Inn, best fish and chips around in our opinion! The sea breeze is also a great cafe if you fancy a cream tea.

Another beautiful pebbly beach with a cafe that is a good option for lunch. You do have to pay for all day parking, but you can try saying to the parking attendant that you’re just here for the cafe, he might let you park to the left for free.

A quaint little village where a visit to the Ferry Boat inn is a must! There is the ham with a play area which I a great picnic spot with kids. The Anchor stone do fabulous sea food. From here you ring a bell to summon the little ferry that takes you to the other side where you can find the Greenway National trust gardens, where Agatha Christie used to reside ( some of which at pictured here)

Another great pebbly beach offering tow good eating options. The Britania serves the best local fish and seafood which can be eaten in their shack or as takeaway on the beach. There is also the cricket inn. You can actually walk here from the cottage with stunning aerial views looking over torcross and the Ley and over Beesands. Or there are coastal foot paths that lead to Torcross and to Hall sands in the opposite direction
