Iztuzu Beach, more commonly known as Turtle Beach, name taken from Caretta Caretta turtles. Only 30 kilometres from Koycegiz by car (35min) and lots of parking available at the beach site for a small fee. The 5-kilometre wide beach lies between a natural freshwater lake and the sparkling Turquoise sea; it boasts soft white sands, shallow transparent water and a just a few makeshift shacks where you can food and drink. You can try Turkish tea, beer any soft drinks. Gozleme is always available, a Turkish savoury pancake cooked on a hot plate. Iztuzu was voted most beautiful beach in the world in 1995 and in 2008 it was said to be the 'Best Open Space in Europe'. It is certainly an idyllic location, not just for animal and nature lovers but also for swimmers and sunbathers. Social distancing - lots of space. Iztuzu beach is also a nesting area for the endangered Loggerhead turtles, a 45 million-year-old species who are both monitored and protected by the International Animal Protection Organisation as well as other notable groups. The Caretta Caretta lay their eggs between May and October when access to the beach is open during the day but prohibited between 20:00 and 8:00 and nesting grounds are cautioned off to protect the eggs. Small boats leave from Koycegiz town and journey along the lake and water channels to Turtle beach. You could take a Day Tour to visit this marvellous beach as well as the nearby Mud Baths and volcanic springs. You can visit ancient city of Kaunos once stand between the civilisations of Caria and Lycia. This region is packed with outstanding natural beauty, rich history and diverse culture so make sure you add it to your itinerary!

The popular extreme entertainment of the resort of Fethiye: a jump from Mount Babadag and a paragliding flight over the Blue Lagoon. Oludeniz is considered one of the world's centers of paragliding and the second most important for Europe. The season of paragliding in Oludeniz lasts from April to October. For paragliding, you should choose comfortable clothes: sneakers, trousers or shorts, as well as a shirt with a long sleeve or a windbreaker, because at altitude there will be a strong wind. The road to the 1.700 metres high point on Babadağ (Father Mountain) is 25 kilometres long and is tough and rough and the trip up takes 40 minutes.
