Cómo moverse
Rehoboth is a highly walkable area best accessed by bike
Rehoboth Beach has become a very popular beach town that offers year round dining, entertainment, and tax-free shopping experiences. The downside is that traffic on Route 1 is often gridlocked during the summer season. Once you arrive, the best way to get around Rehoboth is by walking or biking. The area is very flat so you don't have to be athletic to bike around town. We will gladly share our bikes and bike cart with you, locks are provided.

Bike trips
For bike enthusiasts, take the Breakwater bike trail to the Cape-May Ferry and take your bike on the ferry to Cape May for less than $20 round trip. You can also take the trail to historic Lewes that offers wonderful shops and dining options. Or bike to Cape Henlopen and enjoy a day on the beaches at the state park. I also recommend biking to Seashore State Park where you can enjoy adult beverages and good Mexican food oceanside at the Big Chill. If you choose to drive, get there early because the parking lot ($10 out of state, $5 in state) fills up fast.

Shop in tax free Delaware
Rehoboth Avenue is the city center (and center of the one mile boardwalk) and offers great shopping and dining options. Parking is difficult so be patient and plan to walk a few blocks (parking is easier as you get further away from Rehoboth Avenue). The parking pass that we offer is not valid for metered spaces in the downtown area. Cashless payment is available by downloading the Parkmobile parking app (best to download it before you go). For other shopping options, check out Tanger Outlets (3 locations on Route 1) or one of the many thrift shops in the area.

Rehoboth Farmer's Market
Offers local produce and some handcrafted items. Located on Rehoboth Ave at Grove St (traffic circle) every Tuesday from 10:00 - 2:00, rain or shine. The Visitors Center is on the next block with lots of ideas of things to do in the area. We also keep some activity brochures and menus in the unit.
