Their vines are planted in eight small blocks, which are surrounded by native bushland and impressive granite rocks formations. We do not apply insecticides, allowing the many birds which live in the eucalypt forest surrounding our vineyard blocks to do this work for them

Hidden Creek is situated in the beautiful rugged high altitude hills of Queensland’s Granite Belt at over 900 metres above sea level which is unique in Queensland.
This climate, together with the arid granite rocky soils, draws comparisons to high regions close to the Mediterranean. Areas such as north-eastern Spain, the inland south-west of France around Cahors and Gaillac, and the upper Rhone Valley in France, bear a great resemblance to our Granite Belt terrain. These regions have a tradition of unique characterful wines that are wonderful accompaniments to food.

Choose the reddest strawberries you can find. The redder the better!
