Small plates (tapas) and great wine selection, this place is perfect for a long lunch on the patio or a nice meal out. Gluten free if that's an issue, and check out the bottle list (wines) for specials, the wines are barely marked up $ and super special.

Like Napolitano pizza? Everything, and I mean everything is authentic. The chef, manager and owner are all talented and dedicated to that authentic Napoli pizza and pasta experience. Nice wines, too. Love this place.

Located in historic Ivywild school, PO has great energy and something is always going on. The food is fresh, local and delicious, a good brunch spot or lunch, although I often go there to work and drink their super coffee. There is a bar with excellent drinks, coffee shop, and a nice menu to enjoy inside or on the patio. Close by, as well.

Super cuban sandwich on the menu (much more, also) with a wine selection that I love, plus the owner is always there to say hello in this eclectic setting.

Because Brother is the nicest guy. Oh, and you might have seen him on Top Chef this past year. His food is creative, thoughtful and, above all else, delicious. A little pricier than my other suggestions, but worth the trip, maybe even lunch for less expensive options.

Super yummy ramen with the most creative, inspiring ingredients. No real wine selections, but you can get a beer and who wants wine with ramen, anyway? Love this place and the owner, Mark Henry.

Because my friend, Minji owns the place, and the sushi is fantastic. Lunch is half price, that's when I go and do yourself a favor and order the Broadmoor Salad, it is sashimi, strawberries, jalapeño, cilantro, advocates, some sauce that I dream of and my favorite thing on the menu. Pairs well with the Maimai Sauvignon Blanc.

So fun, Poor Richards is a few businesses stringed together - cafe / wine bar / pizza restaurant / book store / toy store (my son's absolute favorite place when he was little). Pizza is delish, so is the hummus plate, and it's locally owned, just like all of my other recommendations.

Sharon has a great palate for wine, and her selections are spot-on. The food is thoughtful, delicious and make it worth the visit. If you're going to Manitou anyway, you should check this great place out.
