If you are a "sweet treats" person like me....check out this spot"! It's right behind Boondocks and serves donuts, fritters, coffee and ice cream. There's also an outdoor fireplace and seating. You can eat there or take it to go. Try it...you'll love it!

This is a real small hole in the wall place in Lansing, a very small town about 10 minutes from the lodge...but everyone just LOVES their pizza. If you like pizza...give it a try!

If you are looking for a beautiful drive through the country or a motorcycle ride, the drive to Watauga Lake is gorgeous and the lake itself is amazing! It's about an hour and a half one way, but makes an awesome day trip!
When you get there, have lunch at "The Captain's Table". Awesome views!!

If you are looking for a beautiful drive through the country or a motorcycle ride, the drive to Watauga Lake is gorgeous and the lake itself is amazing! It's about an hour and a half one way, but makes an awesome day trip!
When you get there, have lunch at "The Captain's Table". Awesome views!!

Linville Falls is a 45 minute drive from the cabin, but well worth the views. The waterfalls are amazing and there is gorgeous views from the top of the mountain also. Lots of hiking!
