Estimated to be over 2 million years old, Al Hoota Cave is located at the foot of Jabal Shams, Oman’s epic mountain. It is the first and only show cave in the Arabian Peninsula with a total length of around 4.5km, of which just 500m is easily accessible to the general public.

The castle itself has a great history and audio guide is available in multiple languages to hear it all. Interesting to see and hear all about the past, Located a bit outside the main town land so transport is needed.

This historic 2,450 metre-long falaj is located in Barkat Al Mouz, Nizwa, and is famous for having a unique water distribution system and continuity of flow throughout the year. It’s fascinating to see how one of its channels passes through Al Radeeda fortress on its way to the farmlands.
