Powderham Castle is about a mile to walk to, it has a great path which is off the road so very safe. There are lots of Deer in the grounds of the castle which you can see from the path.
It has a fabulous farm shop, cafe and restaurant. there is also a nice gift shop there to.

The railway station is opposite The Old Post Office, its a great way to get around the area, leave your car in our carpark and go off and enjoy your day. You can go to Dartmouth and travel on a steam train. The train is coastal so has great views along the way.
