It is an access point to the Water of Leith which is a lovely walkway/footpath through the city following the Water of Leith. From here you can walk from Stockbridge about a mile or 2 in West direction to reach Dean Village which has lovely views of historic buildings in that small city area.

It is an access point to the Water of Leith which is a lovely walkway/footpath through the city following the Water of Leith. From here you can walk from Stockbridge about a mile or 2 in West direction to reach Dean Village which has lovely views of historic buildings in that small city area.
