Really tasty Mexican food, but what is most memorable of this 100 year old building, that was built when New Mexico was not part of the United States yet, is the scenery inside and all the Southwest history you can handle!

Take $5 cash for the park fee envelope and you will experience one of the most gorgeous mountain backdrops around. Located on the "other side" of the Las Cruces mountain "The Organ Mountain", the park, complete with tables & grills for a cook-out, is close enough to the mountain that it gets shade very early in the afternoon. Take your camera!!

45min away. A surreal, must-see place. Once inside the park with your vehicle, you can take off your shoes and walk through the hills of white sand until you can't see anything else. Sunsets are amazing. Closes about 7pm, but they do have a full moon tour to look into.
