Visitas a lugares emblemáticos en Java Occidental

Museos de historia

Museum
“You cannot visit Jakarta and not visit the National Museum. Dating from 1862, it’s one of the best in the region with incredible ancient statues, Dayak puppets and a wealth of textiles. A new wing documents the origin of humankind in Indonesia over four floors and don’t miss the treasures of Central Java: a quite staggering collection of gold jewelry and trinkets. English language tours are free and run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 & 13:30 and are highly recommended if your Indonesian is a tad rusty.”

Library
“The library has 'word' museum, albeit small, but very stunning. And the library (behind the museum) is good during workdays. On weekends it is very crowded by students working on their research.”

Book Store
“A private library/antique shop/restaurant. It's really nice just to sit here on a rainy day and read from their vast collection of books. They serve homecooked food and coffee. There's no WiFi here so it's the perfect place to disconnect. A small book/record store is included in the space, and there's an antique shop attached right beside it. Closed on Tuesdays”
