Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. There is always a chance of getting stung, So if you are allergic to bees please choose a different experience. We want you to come away feeling alive and in tune with the natural world. You will be wearing a full bee suit.

Our kayaking eco tour explores both the wonderful waters & beautiful beaches of Shell Key Preserve. This is an entirely outdoors experience! We do have to adjust daily tour times to work with the tides+weather so PLEASE LET US KNOW if you are only available for the 1 time slot you select. We'll meet everyone at the launch, do intros, give waterproof bags,& get prepped for kayaking. No experience needed; we'll give everyone a paddling overview! We use primarily double kayaks for ease+comfort. (Your booking time is the planned arrival time. Average water depth 2ft) After that we'll get launched into Shell Key Preserve, a beautiful shallow environment with tons of wildlife & a very interesting ecosystem which we'll discuss+the history of the Preserve! From the shallow seagrass flats to the large mangrove islands to the pristine beaches of Shell Key itself we'll try to cover it all! Including traveling through some mangrove tunnels (tides permitting, mainly Mar-Oct) We'll also look for+talk about some of our incredible wildlife in the Preserve including dolphins, manatees, & other fish/birds! We'll also happily give some places to eat & things to do while you're here! If you enjoy your tour please consider tipping your guide thank you!

We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. We'll get you loaded up into your clear kayak and off we go! The paddle will last about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. We will be sure to take plenty of pictures and give some awesome unique facts about the area on our several picturesque stopping points! There will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water! The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs (a slight workout, but don't worry we take breaks) and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready for lots of great local nature and wildlife along the way! Other things to note The $10 per boat launch fee is included in the price. A smiling face will greet you as soon as you arrive at our launch site. We will provide you with ice cold drinking water, a waterproof bag to protect your cellphone, keys, wallet, etc. We'll walk down to the kayak launch area and go over all safety precautions including proper use of your life jacket & provide a detailed paddle lesson. Once we are ready to paddle, we will embark on a two hour kayak adventure exploring beautiful Sarasota Bay and the world famous Lido Key mangrove tunnels. I'll tell you all about the interesting history of our beautiful bay as well as talk to you about the incredible flora and fauna we encounter! If we are lucky, we may even be visited be amazing dolphins and gentle manatees. Then, we will journey through Lido Key's spectacular mangrove tunnels while we learn of their importance to our coastal ecosystem. Once our tour is over, we will send you on your way with memories that will last a lifetime. Important note: I will message you immediately after you book to get your preference on single kayaks or tandems. If I get no response, we will default to all tandems if your group is even numbered, or all tandems and a single if its odd numbered. As your host, I'll guide you through the Silver River via glass bottom kayaks! I'll make sure you experience all the hot spots that you're otherwise likely to miss on your own, while offering a unique underwater view of sunken shipwrecks, deep blue springs, caves, artifacts and more! We'll share our waterways with an abundance of wildlife such as manatees, alligators, turtles, otters, monkeys and several species of fish and birds! This is an experience you'll never forget; equal parts serene and adventurous and appropriate for all ages and experience levels! My glass bottom kayaks are the only of it's kind on the Silver River! They come with a sit-in-top design, which means they are well suited to all-weather paddling. The cockpit is dropped lower into the boat, which means stability is greatly increased, paddler comfort is enhanced, and wave impact is reduced. It's nearly impossible to tip or flip! My kayaks come standard with a transparent hull for underwater viewing all the way to the bottom, even in the deepest springs in the river. There's plenty of room for a comfortable, stable ride! (TWO PEOPLE PER JET SKI) Total Time 2hrs. Once the guest arrives at the designated location, which is one of the most exclusive lake chains in the area, we will give you a short introduction where we will talk about us the area and explain details about the activities to be carried out. Then we will proceed to the training prior to the activities, which include: 1- Tour through each of the lakes that make up this chain, where you can appreciate part of the wonderful wildlife that surrounds the entire area, points of interest and some of the beautiful mansions of local and international celebrities. 2-Free activities where you can experience in first person the excitement and adrenaline that aquatic activities offer, such as the handling of a Jet Ski, be prepared to be active and have a lot of fun. 3-We will stop where you will be able to see the clear water of these lakes and Swim with confidence, take pictures and videos of each other and keep the memories forever. Guests will be picked up by boat at Bings Landing Marina an-hour and a half before sunset. Our vessel is a well appointed 23 foot Tidewater center console. We will travel north on the intercostal waterway to the Matanzas Inlet. Along the way, guests will have the opportunity to spot dolphins, manatees, and a variety of bird species. While in the inlet, guests will get an up close view of the famous Fort Matanzas. We will then begin a slow cruise south where we will observe a beautiful sunset over the Pellicer Creek Flats. Guests will be provided light refreshments and are welcome to pack a cooler for their own enjoyment. This experience is for one to six guests.

From there, we will enjoy a boat ride to one of the targeted fishing spots along the intercostal or in the saltwater canals of Palm Coast. We will use family friendly fishing techniques that will target species like Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Sea Trout, and Red Fish. This trip is tailored for novice anglers and is designed to focus on fun, bringing out the joy of fishing, and allowing all of the participants to learn about inshore saltwater fishing .

Be ready for a paddling excursion that will showcase Winter Park’s natural beauty from the water. We’ll guide the way through narrow Venetian style canals laced with history and lined with some of Florida’s finest flora and fauna.
