There are also many hiking and biking trails along the nearby Rio Grande River and at the base of the Sandia Mountains. If you want to experience a unique south western home and the culture of New Mexico, Thackeray & Yelena's home will definitely take you there! A peaceful, quiet, relaxing home near quaint shops and a beautiful walking/bike trail along the canal. The outside fireplace and the hot tub in the large backyard patio was a highlight for us. Thank you for everything...and thanks to Mike for being a great host!

The Sandia room was beautiful. Very clean and bright and the bed is super comfortable. My favourite thing about the Sandia room is when the sun rises and makes the room glow in the morning. It's a large house and the room, living area and kitchen are very spacious. The house is in such a perfect location in Corrales with a great view of the Sandia Mountains along with lovely places to cycle, walk and eat (Hannah and Nate's do the best breakfast and lunch). The garden is great to relax in or walk around as like the house, the garden is also large with nice places to sit or lounge in the sun. Mike, who lives on site is so very helpful and great to hang out with at the house having a drink or dining at the Bistro. Although there may be other guests, it feels like you have the whole place to yourself. Staying there really topped off my whole trip, I couldn't imagine having stayed anywhere else.

Stayed a month and thoroughly enjoyed the space, especially the courtyard, and meeting Mike and the other guests. Mike was extremely helpful and welcoming as was the whole town of Corrales. Will definitely be back! Grateful for my time here and the fact that my dog Athena was welcome too.

The owners are Thackery and Yelena Gray. We are professionals that are renting out rooms in our second home. We are not currentlbusiness. We live in Chicago but spend time in our Corrales home 3-4 times a year. Our second home is a large former bed and breakfast located in the quaint village of Corrales. The former B&B was called Inn the Village. Corrales is an old artist eclectic former farming community bordering northwest Albuquerque. It is located on over an acre of land not far from Interstate 25 on the way to Sante Fe. A guest or guests has access to living, dining and kitchen areas even if they rent one room. We love the area because it is quiet and also has the lowest crime rate in New Mexico. The courtyard and backyard are beautiful areas in which to relax. We enjoy the nearby elevated walking/riding trail where from the backyard we often see people riding their horses, bikes or walking.
