My house was built in 1924, and has a sweet feel with its high white wooden ceilings and artistic/rustic decor and architecture. There's a porch to sit on and watch the world walk to work at the Sonoma Mission Inn, just across the street. Spacious kitchen and bathroom--shared with me.
The small, cozy guest room has a fabulously comfortable bed (queen), and eclectic appointments. The bathroom is roomy with more eclectic touches plus all the basics functioning well (no tub though).
During your stay you can explore the Sonoma Valley wine country, the town of Sonoma, or just the neighborhood, which is loaded with restaurants and shops and some fabulous street food, You're welcome to use the big sunny kitchen (there will always be excellent coffee to brew up). This is a terrific walking neighborhood.
This house is a half hour away from Santa Rosa or Petaluma, about five minutes to the town Plaza, and an hour to San Francisco.

You will have access to the entire house minus my bedroom. Comfy, private back yard and porch.

Otros aspectos destacables
There are lots of herbs in the garden, lemon tree exploding with Meyer lemons, and figs--welcome to them!
Be kind, follow the golden rule, and let me know if there's anything you need. Smoking tobacco is fine at roughly a quarter mile away. Pets negotiable.
I'm a 66-year-old single woman who works with Latino immigrants. I love simple, clean, beautiful surroundings with some soul. I'm an omnivore--I have no prohibition or great dislikes, and my kitchen is generally a pretty casual and welcoming place. I've been an Airbnb host for over a year now, and have a style of hosting that matches the simple, soulful, casual and welcoming feel that describes the house. I really like meeting new people but am quite respectful of privacy. I look forward to seeing you. Oh--the website asks about a motto. Here's mine (and i have to keep reminding myself): "Don't believe everything you think".
