Interior view from front door. "Bar none the best air bnb experience we have had as a family. Beautiful place, peaceful time spent just relaxing and walking/fishing together. The cabin was surprisingly spacious and had more creature comforts than one should expect while "camping". One of the things we loved most was the attention to detail at the cabin - artfully done yet functional too and so clean. "-Sean 2015Cabin Front "Loved the cabin!!! Since the minute I walked in it felt like I was home. Couldn't be more happy!! "Ausra May 2017

This little cabin was the perfect getaway from the city! Low key, simple and charming. The setting on the river is so peaceful. The cabin was particularly clean yet hostiptable. The hosts were readily accessible, but there was nothing we needed! Highly recommended.

The cabin was perfect and everything we expected from the reviews and pictures we looked at before reserving. It is in a great location over looking the river tucked back into the woods for some privacy. The cabin has everything you need to disconnect and get away and nothing you don't need. Everything that was provided from the linens to the kayak was great and made the stay that much better. We look forward to staying again and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a stay here.

Had everything my boyfriend and I were looking for: beautiful scenic view and a cozy, peaceful space. Perfect place to disconnect as the cabin is tv/wifi-free. We read, played guitar, worked on a puzzle, and stared through the stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that looking out toward the Pere Marquette River. We spent a few hours in Ludington where we visited (in the cold, wet rain) the Ludington Lighthouse and then walked to the Big Sable Lighthouse. It was awesome and super fun to layer on the clothes and enjoy the outdoors. The cabin is equipped with everything you could need, plus more. All necessary kitchen supplies, clean linens, awesome books, and games. We can't wait to go back. Thanks, again Russ and Jade!

Russ And Jade’s place was welcoming, quaint, and exactly what I had expected for a few days of R&R. Waking up with the sunrise and spending evenings warming up next to a campfire by the Pere Marquette made the days feel more connected to the natural beauty of the area.

Beautiful setting and aside from a few vehicles on the main road (which weren't very many), you could hear the beautiful pier Marquette trickling by, and Saw quite a few salmon heading up stream to spawn also. It was quite nice not having a television so we could get back to visiting nature again. We are a arts and crafts era couple so we enjoyed the decor however the lighting could be a little brighter for reading a novel at night since it was dark ar 7:30 when we stayed but set a nice mood for evening. Thanks for a time that both Mary Beth and I needed. Denny Montague

Russ is a exhibit builder traveling all over the world for installs. I am medical technologist at a small local hospital. When we are not working we fly fish, kite board, snorkel or stand up paddle-board. We LOVE to travel and eat local food where ever we are-think flying fish at the local fish fry or street tacos sitting on a 6 inch plastic chairs.
