Country quaint, conveniently located two blocks from downtown Lodi. Enjoy walking to several wine tasting rooms, fine dining, antique stores, pubs, bakery, cafe's, and finish the day taking in a movie.
I think of my home as my little piece of country in the city. Many trees provide shade as well as fresh fruit, organically grown. The garden and the lawns have been sacrificed to spare water as California struggles through a another year of severe drought recovery. A small flower garden awaits my guests to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, a book, glass of wine, a relaxing swing on the park bench.
Enjoy cooking your meals as the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils and the seasonings most commonly used. All you need to do is bring your favorite foods.
The new central heat and air unit will keep you warm and cozy in the winter and cool in the summer.
One of my favorite amenities in the house is the bathtub which is a perfect place to relax after a long day sight seeing.
The house was built when the thought of the many modern conveniences were yet to be invented and so it lacks an automatic dishwasher.
Disponible para huéspedes
Enjoy the whole house, with exceptions to the basement, garage, and backyard. The drought has taken its toll on the landscape, many of the trees suffered throughout the summer, the lawns were not watered due to restrictions. The back yard is not level with many small holes dug by my dogs and resident pocket gophers, guests are limited to front and side yard.

Recent upgrades include new bamboo flooring, please wipe up any spills quickly as it will damage the floor. Brand new vinyl in the bath and kitchen. The house has been freshly painted and furnished from downtown second hand/consignment stores.
Sleeping accommodations include a queen size sleigh bed room set in the room overlooking the back yard. The front bedroom has recently upgraded a queen size bed. Both rooms have dark curtains for late sleepers.
The cookware is non-stick ceramic.
The gas stove is lovely to cook on but I have learned that the raised grate allows the heat to heat the pans not only on the bottom but the heat travels around the entire surface making handles and lids very hot too. Also, I have learned that utensils left sitting in the pan while cooking get scorched. Please remove utensils in between stirring/turning/flipping your meal while it cooks.
No smoking in the house. Smoking area available outside the backdoor.
Please leave the cats outside, they have work to attend too.
Be respectful of the neighbors and keep the volume down, especially after 10pm.
Basement and garage are off limits to guests.
Rental includes access to front and side yard.
