The house is located in the quiet historic Kenton Neighborhood. A bright & spacious room with a private bathroom comfortably sleeps for 2. FREE & easy street parking. The kitchen & laundry are not included. The house is 7 miles to downtown and 8miles to PDX, a 10-minute drive to Alberta & Mississippi district, 5-min walk to the bus stop & a 12-min walk to the Max Transit Yellow line Kenton/N. Denver station. Cafés, bars & great restaurants (with outdoor seating) & organic grocery stores nearby!

El alojamiento
The bedroom has a very nice queen firm plush mattress (I have gotten so many compliments on the mattress), 100% crisp combed cotton bedsheets, firm pillows, writing desk, desk chair, desk lamp, bedside table, reading lamp, luggage rack, closet, full-length dressing mirror, raise/high ceiling, and lots windows! The bathroom has a traditional tub and skylight.

A spacious full private bathroom is next to the bedroom. You can enjoy privacy and cleanliness during your stay.

The house was built in 2003. It has the new house feel to it--fresh and bright!!

Due to the COVID condition, common areas such as the kitchen, dining and living room are NOT available to the guests.

The train track is about 1/2 mile from the house. By law, the train needs to ring the horn at night when it passes through the city. Sometimes it rings several times a night. Sometimes none.

The horn does not bother 95% of my guests. I have 900+ close to 5-star reviews on my profile for all my listings combine. 

However, If you are sensitive to sound or are a light sleeper, you will hear the horn. I would recommend that you don’t book with me. 

The summer is here. On the days when the temperature reaches 87-88 degrees or above, I turn on the a/c during the day, keep the house cool all day and turn off the a/c around 9pm. Then open the windows and shades and use the portable fan in the room at night.

Please note: I don't advertise this listing as an a/c unit. It is not on my amenity list. If you need to sleep with a/c at night, you should not book with me.

The house is located in the quiet historic Kenton neighborhood. It is a leisure walk to the coffee shops and restaurants in central Kenton. Most of them have outdoor seatings. I recommend the following neighborhood restaurants - they are about 12-minute walking distance.

Posies Bakery & Cafe for a great cup of coffee, fresh in-house made pastries and breakfast sandwiches. It has outdoor seatings.

Swift & Union is a great refined yet casual pub-style restaurant. Great for all occasions. It has outdoor seatings.

Pizza Fino - Gourmet Pizza. It has outdoor seatings.

Poshine is a nonprofit Cajun & BBQ restaurant dishing up down-to-earth soul food.

Parkside Restaurant and Lounge is a pub by the Kenton Park, a little gem in the neighborhood, has delicious food and drinks. It has a 4.5-star rating on Yelp. It has outdoor seatings.

Casa Maya Taqueria & Cantina - It opened in August 2020. It has outdoor seatings.

Mayfly Taproom And Bottle Shop offers a great selection of wine and beer. It is 0.7 miles from the house or a 15-minute walk. It has outdoor seatings.

We also have excellent grocery stores nearby. Here are my recommendations --

The Green Zebra Grocery store (a super friendly small neighborhood organic grocery store with an excellent deli, prepared-food section, salad and juice bar. I love it!) is a stroll away. Two New Seasons Markets nearby are the bigger and well-stocked organic grocery store, each is about 2 miles away. The conventional grocery store Fred Meyer is only a mile distance.
