This is an original 1880's River House, characterized by ample sleeping quarters. There are five bedrooms (four doubles, one single), two full bathrooms and one WC, a kitchen, a small dining room, a living room and even a dance room. It can accomodate up to 8 people. Located near the woods and to hiking trails, the house is also just a few yards from the water.

Normas de la casa
Due to the semi-wild environment, we ask that our renters be comfortable in nature. For the same reason we ask that all outside doors be closed from 6 p.m. to 6a.m.
No fires allowed.
We ask that you bring your own drinking water and that you take all your trash with you when you leave.
Grindstone Island is only accessible by water. We provide a docking space but no boats. These may be rented in Clayton, the nearest town on the mainland.
We ask that you leave the house as clean as you found it upon entrance.
Rentals are on a weekly basis in July and August. The Labor Day weekend is also available.
