Welcome to our spacious, beautifully finished & well-appointed 1 bedroom apartment. Newly renovated in 2016. 55sqm. Great location in Aigburth - a particularly leafy and pleasant pocket of the city - just around the corner from the vibrant Lark Lane's bars, pubs, shops, cafés and restaurants. Situated between Sefton Park and Princes Park, both within 5 minutes' walk. The bus and train routes into town are both very close-by (see below). With off-licenses, shops and two supermarkets nearby

You can already see from the images that it's a clean, spacious and airy apartment for a pleasant stay. But on a purely practical level, here is a list so that you know your accommodation will be convenient and comfortable too...

Free Off-street Parking, 2x Sets of Keys, King Bed, Double Sofa Bed (big and comfortable, don't worry), Bedding (provided for number of guests booked), Bath & Hand Towels (likewise), Travel Cot (with Bassinet and Changing Table), Wireless Internet, Portable Central Heating Control (very easy to operate), Good Curtains (you deserve a lie in), Full Length Mirror, Wardrobe, Hangers, Drawers, 1080p HD TV - with USB & HDMI sockets and 1x HDMI cable provided, DAB Radio, Bluetooth Speaker - with jack-to-jack lead provided for non-bluetooth audio sources, Fridge Freezer, Washing Machine, Clothes Drying Rack, Iron, Ironing Board, Double Electric Oven, Five-Ring Gas Hob, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, Pots & Pans, Standard Kitchen Tools & Utensils, Crockery/Glasses/Mugs, Cutlery, Cafetiere, Hair Dryer, Vacuum Cleaner, Broom, Mop & Bucket, Tea Towels, Safety Features (smoke alarm, CO detector, fire extinguisher) ... and a few books.

The location is the best thing about our apartment. It's not in town, but there are cheap, quick and frequent public transport links into town. It's in a pleasant, leafy and quiet suburb of the city (Aigburth), but it's also right next to Lark Lane, which is lively and bustling!

The city centre is very easily accessible, but Aigburth, Sefton Park and Lark Lane can be enjoyed in their own right...

Lark Lane is great! It's just around the corner (but completely out of hearing range) and is vibrant with life, eating and drinking - particularly at weekends. With loads of bars, pubs, cafés, restaurants and interesting shops, you will find places you like and, I'm sure, will have a good time! Lark Lane also has takeaways, convenience stores and a well-stocked express supermarket (with off-license). With a larger supermarket 3 or 4 minutes away on Aigburth Road.

Sefton Park is 5 minutes' walk, and is beautiful and leafy, with a lake, two cafés, a brilliant kids' playground, The Palm House, free tennis courts and lots of lovely open space. Princes Park is just 5 minutes away too, and is en-route if you choose to walk into town.

It's also easy to get to Festival Gardens and Otterspool Promenade on foot - just walk on past St Michael's train station and through the small wooded area, cross the road at the bottom and you're in Festival Gardens. From here there is excellent signage to the waterfront.

From North Wales, have lived in Liverpool since 2005. I try to get myself to some far(ish)-flung places whenever I can free up the time and funds. Since quite recently I've been a taxi driver in Liverpool - a real education! Probably one of the best ways to learn about a city and its character.
