At our “Stargazer” Dome it is perfectly placed to be able to watch the night stars under our clear Alberta skies. Not only is the location perfect for any upcoming astronomers, in case of those cloudy nights we have themed our geodome with a stargazing atmosphere. We have hiking trails to explore and a river to float down to keep cool during out hot summer months right on our property.

The Bunkhouse

Come to relax and experience a taste of the country at RTR Ranch with our newly renovated 450 sq/ft 1905 bunkhouse. Camping Cabin - Horseshoe Canyon

Located at the breathtaking Horseshoe Canyon, 17 km south of Drumheller off Hwy 9. This unique cabin offers guests immediate access to some of the best hiking trails and views in the badlands. Enjoy peaceful sunrises/sets, stargazing, and if you're lucky some of the best Northern Lights viewing in the region. This cabin is at Horseshoe Canyon Campground, which includes a playground, mini golf, ice cream shop, and shared washroom facilities.
