This two bedroom cabin sits on the bank of the Little Kanawha River. Kick back on the covered front porch or build a fire in the nearby fire ring. The cabin also has a fireplace for chillier days and nights. Enjoy the abundant natural resources offering exceptional fishing and hunting. Explore the pristine beauty of the area with excellent access to horse trails, four-wheeler trails, hiking and biking. Or - simply kick back and read a book. Welcome to your private studio apartment located along "Country Roads" near Sago, WV on the scenic Buckhannon River. We are just 5 miles from Buckhannon, WV and WV Wesleyan University. Nearby recreational areas include Stonecoal Lake and Stonewall Jackson Lake. This property is our only property listed on airbnb. There is no management company, no outside cleaning company, no cleaning fee. When you contact us through airbnb you are speaking to the owners, not a management company.

The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! By September 2020, there will be a new outdoor living area with a hot tub and dining.

Sweet Country Cabin: Sandstone!

Remote and secluded, Sandstone sits on a hill that was the property’s quarry, where the old-timers split the mountain’s sandstone rocks to make the foundation stones for their cellar and house. Their excavation holes are visible from the cabin. We thought that was so cool, so we carved out a place for Sandstone too! This cabin is on a hill: a peaceful piece of WV heaven that will comfortably accommodate up to 4 memory-making guests! Furry friends welcome with $95 pet fee.

Historic suite for 2 by river. Porch & Kitchenette

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.

Lambert’s Winery “Hang-over” Treehouse

This playful treehouse cabin provides amazing views with a cantilevered design and large windows overlooking the grounds of Lambert's Winery. Taste, tour and explore the winery grounds in this playful & unforgettable loft! The "Hang-over" is one of three rental cabins on the property and features a spiral tree staircase built from naturally resourced materials on the winery grounds, a loft bedroom, covered outdoor space, interior swings and amazing views!

Located on 57 acres of secluded wooded and meadowed property; enjoy splashing in the river, hiking, riding ATV trails and having quiet evenings on the outdoor covered patio with fireplace. The property is located 30 minutes from the quaint town of Buckhannon, WV and within easy driving distance to Blackwater Falls State Park and Canaan Valley Resort.

The Bunkhouse

This cabin is newly built and hand crafted with timber right off of this very property. This is a 150 AC farm & bird hunting preserve. Relax in the hot tub, hike, bring your ATV’S/UTV’S - ride for miles down local backroads. Plenty of space to park your boat or trailer. Public lands nearby offer fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, etc. 20 minutes from the popular Stonewall Resort. (NO WIFI. AT&T & some other providers do have service)

The cottage in the woods is the perfect place to relax and unwind, or use as a base to explore the more than 20 attractions just a day trip away! Has all the comforts of home, while enjoying privacy and quiet. We offer good cell phone service, WiFi and TV available for streaming. Grocery store, home-cookin' restaurants, coffee shop, bakery and pizza place within 2 miles. Come see us!

Wonderful views, amazing hikes, great fishing and tons of outdoor activities. For the protection and security of guests, we have installed a Ring Doorbell on the front door of our cottage.
