Tucked along a tree-lined street on the island of Alameda, this thoughtfully restored 1885 Victorian cottage offers a quiet, ground-floor retreat. The bedroom features a queen bed, living room includes a queen pullout sofa. A sleek kitchenette is equipped with a two-burner electric cooktop, compact refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, and portable oven. A dedicated work desk with high-speed internet completes this refined space for guests who appreciate boutique comfort and timeless design.

Fully-equipped studio apartment in Alameda victorian home. Spacious, with modern amenities (WiFi, Netflix), free coffee and tea, queen-size bed, and big yard, shared with the main house. Separate entrance through the backyard. Young kids live in the upstairs house part-time (see “other notes”) and can be loud until 9:30pm. We’re a dog-friendly space and love hosting pups (maximum of 2, house trained)! Please note that we’re not able to accommodate cats at this time. Lab lives in property.

We're happy to share it with guests looking for a quiet & unique place to stay in the Bay Area. It has its own entrance, private courtyard and is located one block from the beach, pinball museum, transit, farmers market, coffee shops & restaurants. You’ll love it because it's quaint and conveniently located.
