Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, docks, and Festival Park/Elizabeth II. Visit The Lost Colony/Fort Raleigh/Elizabethan Gardans, NC Aquarium, and Jockey's Ridge. This cottage is located in Wanchese, a quiet fishing village in the Outer Banks. The 3 bed 3.5 bath home is a mere 200 yards away from a public boat ramp & offers 61’ boat parking, an outdoor fish cleaning table, grill & picnic table. It’s a 15 min drive to the beach. Have a cup of coffee on the porch while watching fishing boats head out for their daily catch and enjoy views of Bodie Island Lighthouse. The home features photos and articles of the Daniels family business, Wanchese Fish Company.

Located in the quaint, seaside town centrally located between the string of islands known as the Outer Banks of North Carolina, my historic home offers a newly-converted detached apartment nestled in the lush, backyard flower gardens. The apartment is very private and is a pleasant 5-minute walk to downtown Manteo where you will find shops, restaurants, a playground, a walking path along the marina and surrounding harbor, and Roanoke Island Festival Park which hosts musical events and more.
