A bird watching haven - egrets, swans, geese, avocets, osprey, European roller (2023) and this year ... a sea eagle! Masses of walking trails and cycling.

Here is what one of our recent (and regular) guests said about us, Another perfect weekend at the Megabus for the three of us (1 x 5 year old) The field of bluebells and birds and butterflies, sunrises and sunsets, fire pits and stars, warm and comfy bus with everything you need to be comfortable. The Secret Stable Shepherd's Hut

Nestled on the outreaches of Dartmoor National Park, The Secret Stable Shepherd's Hut is a custom built, rustic hut, in an outstanding rural countryside location. Sleeping 4 people in two double beds and a wood burner to keep you toasty all year round! The Hut has a cosy kitchen with a double gas burning ring and running water, a breakfast bar and a table for dining. We also have an onsite, open air, WOOD FIRED PIZZA RESTAURANT, open on select nights from April to December.

There is private parking for 6 cars, with an EV charge point, a huge decked area and a large, secure garden.

The Dairy, near Launceston

Our accommodation is a beautifully converted dairy. Its half way between the north and south coasts of Cornwall and also within easy reach of both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. The whole place has underfloor heating and is all on one level, with its own garden. Our farm is tucked away in a small hamlet, with lots of lovely walks to be had both on and around it. There is also an excellent pub within walking distance. We are happy to accept well behaved dogs.
