The perfect base for a country stroll, bike ride or lunch on the High St with pubs & independent cafes 2 mins away Manningtree, England’s smallest town is nestled within an AONB and was voted Sunday Times ‘Best Place to Live’ 2019 *Please note* - my home is right next to The Crown pub so there is some noise. It is ideal for a romantic getaway, cycling/walking and for exploring everything Suffolk has to offer. The Bull Freehouse is a 10 min walk up the lane with great food & beer!

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

The Hayloft is a light, spacious, open-plan, self catering unit for two. A romantic countryside retreat within part of Deepwell Barn, a converted grade II listed thatched building. Lovely walks, bike rides and pubs nearby. Close to Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds and picturesque local villages. As well as a private enclosed garden, guests have use of the larger garden, with fire pit, hammock and BBQ, a lovely setting in which to unwind and enjoy the countryside.
