This wonderful yurt is based around a traditional Mongolian yurt with beautifully painted hardwood poles and lattice walls. Lounge in the supremely comfortable king sized bed or soak in the freestanding rolltop bath with a glass of something fizzy. There is a fully kitted out kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm and a firepit outside to barbeque on and warm up those starlit evenings. Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The Teasel Yurt

You will find The Teasel Yurt tucked into the side of Selsley Common. The large deck looks out over the Severn Vale and Stroud hills - spectacular in all weather and a great spot for sunset. The yurt itself can accommodate a maximum of 5 people with your bedding and towels provided. There is a wood burner to keep the yurt cosy when it is chilly out and the open air kitchen has a canvas roof, a gas burner, firepit/BBQ, sink and cool box. Your bathroom has a hot shower and compost loo.
