Forget your worries in this recently refurbished, spacious and peaceful apartment. Easy access to mountains, hills, lakes, rivers, castles, the coastline & the Mach Loop, Dolgellau is truly the 'gateway to Snowdonia' and this apartment would ideally suit hikers, bikers, history lovers and watersports enthusiasts. Unfortunately, we cannot yet accommodate pets and as we have only one double bed, the accommodation suits adults. As a first floor apartment the stairs may be difficult for some guests.

Chester House is an ideal base for groups of hikers, mountain bikers or families wanting to explore Snowdonia. Dolgellau is a pretty little town, sitting in lovely walking country beneath the Cader Idris mountain range. The sea, and some delightful beaches are just down the road, too! There are lots of restaurants/cafes, pubs and supermarkets within a 5-minute walk.

The barn has been refurbished and is a delightful self-catering holiday cottage situated in a peaceful location overlooking Welsh countryside with stunning views from each angle to include the Aran Fawddwy, Aran Benllyn, Rhobell Fawr and Cader Idris mountains.

Accommodation comprises a double bedroom, a bedroom with queen size bed (suitable for x1 child/young adult or x2 small children sharing, a shower room and wc and open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. Our beautiful eco-friendly barn, set within Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), is a mix of traditional stone exterior and contemporary interior, within landscaped woodland gardens. We have 360° views of the mountains, and are near Dolgellau, Machynlleth, Coed-y-Brenin, Lake Vyrnwy and Cader Idris. Downstairs there is a lounge, kitchen and dining area, with a double bedroom and shower room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one double and a twin - and a bathroom.
