The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

The rustic cabin is also accompanied by a picnic shelter with a working rock fireplace, loft, and an additional outdoor bathroom (in season). Approximately 2 acres of field and partially wooded property are available to guests. NO PETS.

A brand new spacious cabin located in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley just outside of Harrisonburg VA. We are located next to several National Parks with great hiking opportunities. The cabin in located at the bottom of the mountain along the trout stocked Dry River. This cabin is equipped with all the amenities to make you feel right at home. You will be able to leave all your worries behind, have a beautiful bonfire while listening to the river run down the beautiful mountain side.

Pondside Paradise

Welcome to our family’s little getaway. Our 12x20 ft cabin sits beside a 2.5 acre pond. Savor the evening beside a campfire listening to the nightfall on our Valley or from the porch swing. The tiny house/cabin is 2 story with a small but full kitchen (complete with refrigerator, stove, microwave, & coffee maker) and the sleeping area upstairs. Please note that if you have mobility issues our place might not be right for you. Relax and enjoy being unplugged (no TV or Wi-Fi)

The Roost in Lower Rawley

Newly rebuilt, quaint cabin in the heart of Lower Rawley Springs, ten miles west of Harrisonburg, in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. This lovely cabin is a short walk to the hiking trails of The George Washington National Forest, within walking distance of Dry River and Gum Run Stream, and a quick drive to the college town of Harrisonburg. Enjoy hiking, grilling, cooking in our fully equipped kitchen, or relaxing by the campfire or on the front porch. Join us!

It is just a short drive from JMU, EMU, and Bridgewater College. Harrisonburg, "the friendly city" is just a 15 minute drive from our location. There are two Farmers Markets and numerous other attractions nearby.
